Need a break this weekend? Visit Haak Vineyards

Haak Winery advises visitors to the Harvest Festival to dress and prepare for a full day under the Sun.
The Fourth of July has recently passed and it is about to be the midpoint of summer. In a couple of months, the children will return to school and the temperature will slowly begin to drop. If you have not had the chance to take a vacation, consider taking a day trip to Haak Vineyards. This weekend Haak Vineyards and Winery will be hosting two events that would make for a pleasant, relaxing day away from the apartment.
The Haak Vineyards Harvest Festival will be taking place this Saturday, July 9. Harvest Festival is an original, free event where visitors to the vineyard can help pick this years grape harvest. Visitors will receive instructions and pruning knives to help with the grape harvest. At the beginning of the day, pickers will be provided free coffee, juice and warm muffins. Every basket of grapes harvested is a chance for a picker to win door prizes throughout the festival. The day will end with a full service lunch at the expense of the guest and live music. Harvest festival is free of charge and is slated to run from 8am to 4pm.
Sunday, June 10, Haak Vineyards will host their annual summer concert series. The band that will perform is Prime Time Band and the cover is $5. During the concert, visitors can try a variety of wines produced at the vineyard and purchase food from a full menu. Concert-goers can also grab a bite to eat at the deli that will sell cheese, meats, spreads and breads.
Haak Vineyard is located in Santa Fe, which is thirty-five minutes south of League City. Anyone that has not had the opportunity to vacation this summer should plan a trip to Haak Vineyards. The Harvest Festival would make a great event for anyone interested in the cultivation of wine grapes while the concert would be a great opportunity to relax and unwind.
